The Role
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management, configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our Salesforce environment. Working within the Digital Experience team the Salesforce Administrator will be required to collaborate with multiple Memorial teams to identify and develop new processes that will increase efficiency and productivity. This position will also work with external Salesforce development partners and will support the Digital Projects Manager in future implementations of new business process.
This position will be available up to a period of 12 months.
Core Responsibilities
Under limited direction from the Digital Projects Manager, the Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for:
- Being the primary system administrator for the Memorial’s Salesforce environment.
- Being a key point of contact with the Memorial’s Salesforce Development Partners.
- Handling all basic administrative functions including system monitoring, issue investigation; and remediation or escalation where appropriate; user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks.
- Gathering detailed requests for improvements or changes to the system, including the capture of complex user requirements, and implement these changes as appropriate.
- Automating processes using Salesforce tools such as flow automation and validation rules.
- Managing less complex Salesforce integrations - those not handled by a Salesforce Developer or Consultant/Partner.
- Identifying, installing and maintaining appropriate apps from the AppExchange for event management, mass email, document merge, and more.
- Documenting customisations made in Salesforce.
- Planning ahead for upgrades, seasonal releases and long term projects.
