About the Division
The Information Management and Technology Division guides the Departments' digital capability and is leading digital transformation for the Department including Victorian government schools. The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base of approximately 750,000 staff and students. IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS),enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS),using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security and integration.

About the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide competent Functional Analysis services in support of important and complex business applications projects within the Salesforce platform, using industry accepted IT Development practice and techniques.
The role involves skilfully translating stakeholder needs and prototypes into precise software requirements, utilising out of the box features and functionalities. This includes evaluating existing information, documenting findings, and presenting information to stakeholders.
You will analyse business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and design, develop and implement new and enhanced processes under supervision whilst supporting project team in executing the change to end users. The successful applicant will be expected to have a good understanding of integrated IT systems, specifically Salesforce application, to undertake systems analysis and design, including high-level modelling, process flow modelling and process re-engineering and translate prototypes into functional specifications.

- Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills and the proven use of initiative in solving problems, including knowledge and experience in defining, implementing and enhancing business process.
- Analyses issues from different perspectives and draws sound inferences from information available.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in workshops with stakeholders to gather and analyse business processes and requirements and drive the key outcomes on the framework.
- Highly developed written communication skills including the ability to liaise with a diverse range of internal and external personnel and stakeholders and proven ability to plan and organise work and produce high quality results.
- Desirable: Agile working experience with clear, highly articulated, working background Functional Analysis.
