TNTP is currently seeking a Salesforce Administrator for our Technology team. This position is based in a home office anywhere in the U.S. and is available immediately. Occasional travel may be required.

The Technology team is a dynamic team that provides services to over 800 TNTP staff working on over 40 contract sites across the country and maintains a cloud-based infrastructure and suite of enterprise-level systems of moderate to high complexity. In addition, the team works directly with internal clients to provide exceptional customer service, manages technology vendors, and mitigates risk. The Technology team approaches work through a model of continuous improvement and governance models to support the evolving work of internal clients and address the business needs of a growing, virtually connected organization. What You'll Do
As the Salesforce Administrator you will administer the technology stack used by our TNTP Teaching Fellows Sites to ensure we are operating as effectively and efficiently as possible, including configuring systems, supporting Fellow's program application launches, and troubleshooting issues. Salesforce is our primary platform, but you will be expected to work within a wide range of integrated systems, such as SurveyMonkeyApply, FormAssembly, Pardot, and SMS Magic.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Manage user setup, permissions, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, flows, validation rules, dashboards, and reports.
  • Receive, prioritize, document, and actively resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 end user help requests in a timely and accurate manner with high-quality customer service.
  • Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Import, export, and mass update data as needed.
  • Develop and maintain internal and user documentation for Salesforce and other integrated platforms; deliver end-user training.
  • Develop, document, and execute test cases for testing of new features and platform upgrades.
  • Assist with the retirement of technical debt.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize enhancements.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of new Salesforce-related initiatives.

Qualifications and Experiences

  • Salesforce Expertise. You enjoy administering, configuring and maintaining Salesforce. You are a constant learner and are passionate about supporting solution implementations that leverage technology.
  • Business Acumen. You apply your business knowledge and technical expertise to advise and drive Salesforce solutions that improve the outcomes of our work.
  • Solve Problems. You can identify challenges, analyze the root causes, and propose solutions to help staff. You have honed your skills identifying critical information needed to solve a problem and proactively identifying trends to address.
  • Support Staff. You'll regularly interact with staff, providing high levels of customer service and motivating them to make changes. You can communicate directly, concisely, and with a balanced tone, written and verbally.
  • Take initiative. You're eager to contribute and learn, willing to provide solutions before we even know there are issues. As a result, you make ongoing process improvements.
  • Build relationships. Your strong relationship-building skills will allow you to partner with TNTP staff, motivating and guiding them towards solutions that meet their most pressing technological needs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Familiarity with tools such as FormAssembly and SurveyMonkeyApply is preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of various declarative Salesforce features, including Flows, Process Builder and Validation Rules.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. You pay attention to the details in troubleshooting and the accuracy of your solutions.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Comfortable conducting basic data cleaning and analysis, and processing mass updates using DataLoader.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and collaborate effectively with staff of all levels across the organization.
  • Ability to perform as a team player and work independently but collaboratively.
WHAT WE OFFER
TNTP offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position with the potential for an annual performance-based bonus. The salary range for this position is $72,800 - $109,200. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint at the following ranges ($72,800-$91,000) depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.
We also provide best-in-class comprehensive benefits, providing a wide range of plans and programs that are focused on supporting the physical, mental, and financial wellness of employees and their dependents. TNTP pays toward the cost of medical insurance plans and dental and vision plans. Our 403(b)-retirement plan has up to 7% matching contribution, as well as free financial planning and coaching services, and up to $600/year payment towards qualifying student loans. TNTP also provides fully paid life insurance, parenting benefits, lifestyle spending accounts, up to 12 weeks of fully paid medical leave, generous vacation time, commuter benefits, referral bonuses, and professional development. New employees start with 5 sick/personal days, accrue 15 days of vacation during their first year of employment, and receive approximately 24 paid holidays each year—including a Winter Break the last 2-weeks of December. We also provide a one-time home office start-up stipend of up to $1,100 and annual refresher amounts of up to $250/year, a TNTP-provided laptop and cell phone, and a home office stipend of $135/month.
