Job Summary:
As a member of Digital Development, you will work closely with the E-commerce and Product teams and will be responsible for transforming business requirements to modern, performant, and visually accurate and appealing experiences on our SFCC instance. You will get to contribute to the end-to-end product lifecycle and will have an opportunity to positively impact millions of customers who shop at Garage and Dynamite.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Developers, QA, and internal stakeholders to understand, influence, develop, test, and deliver engaging and performant features;
• Take part in our Agile development process and contribute to sprint planning sessions, user story estimations, demos, and retrospectives;
• Develop and monitor integrations, and maintain the existing integrated architecture;
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following best practices and design patterns;
• Contribute to a culture of growth through PR reviews, pair programming, brainstorming, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology;
• Minimum 3 years of web development experience using jQuery, React, Vue, or Angular + HTML, CSS, CSS preprocessors (SCSS, Sass), and JavaScript;
• Minimum 2 years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud development experience on SFRA including data model customizations, ISML template extensions, JavaScript controllers, and scripting, as well as debugging Production issues;
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with the SFCC APIs including OCAPI, SCAPI, and SLAS;
• Minimum 1 year of experience building RESTful integrations with third-party platforms such as payment gateways, CRMs, shipping providers, and OMS;
• Strong understanding of caching principles in SFRA and methods to optimize performance;
• Strong understanding of site speed principles and optimization methods for Core Web Vitals;
• Familiarity with B2C E-commerce paradigms including customer journeys, composable storefronts, order management, and payment systems;
• Experience with version control systems;
• Excellent communication skills to maintain tight alignment with business stakeholders;
• Proactive problem-solver with a go-getter attitude.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience contributing to or designing a Headless architecture using the PWA Kit or other headless frameworks;
• Experience creating integrations with Salesforce Core/Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud;
• Experience with the Google Cloud platform;
• Familiarity with API proxies such as APIGO.
