About the Business Unit
Technology Services and Data Security (TSDS) explores and employs technology to enable the department's business to function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and oversees the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex.
About the Role
The Salesforce CRM Administrator provides technical, consulting and development support of a new Salesforce case management system. The role also manages and optimises the application by configuring and customising the platform as well providing support, knowledge sharing and user training.
Some of your duties will include:
- Maintaining Salesforce applications by provisioning user access, business as usual bug fixes and minor enhancements.
- Writing technical documentation, administer Salesforce components, maintain code and configure objects to be used in Salesforce solution using best practice techniques.
- Providing expert support to users of the systems and to service delivery functions, gather business operations requirements and deliver effective solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 4+ years of relevant Salesforce Administrator experience.
- Experience in flows, basic Apex, validation rules, system automation, sharing & security settings, permissions management, formula fields etc.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to build and maintain effective relationships.
Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator Certification is essential.
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce OmniStudio Consultant or OmniStudio Developer Certifications are highly desirable.
- Relevant tertiary or post graduate qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology would be highly regarded.
- Appropriate vocation qualifications and certifications e.g., Agile, Software Platforms, Cloud, Service Management or Change Management are highly desirable.
