The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our highly skilled team in maintaining the University’s Salesforce platform through the provision of extensive, technical expertise. You will play a pivotal role in the development of specialised solutions for new as well as existing solutions adhering to strict deadlines to support VP Services as a whole.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Design and develop Salesforce solutions to ensure high quality outcomes to existing solutions
- Evaluate add-ons and applications to the existing CRM platform and provide support to the team for all Salesforce development matters
- Provide advice to Enterprise Architects on the use of Salesforce within the University
- Liaise with other internal teams to develop solutions that are in line with desired outcomes
- Continually research and provide recommendations to improve current practices and process to ensure solutions are in line with best practices and standards
To be successfully considered for this role the ideal candidate will have
- Extensive experience in a similar role, where you have managed the CRM solutions within a complex organisation
- Demonstrable experience using Agile methodologies in delivering custom solutions with the Salesforce Platform (Apex, Visual Force Pages, Lightning) along with experience integrating Salesforce with 3rd party systems
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to provide sound, expert, technical advice as required along with strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and come up with effective solutions
