Salesforce Technical administrator lead – 6 month contract

About the Role

As the largest storage company in Canada, we are seeking an organized Technical Administrator lead to join our team to ensure our company capitalizes on the benefits offered in innovative technology cloud applications, platforms and systems.

Salesforce Technical Administrator responsibilities include managing external development teams and the development cycles, creating user accounts, maintaining marketing databases and training staff on the effective use of the Marketing Cloud product.

Ultimately, you will work with our marketing team and IT professionals to ensure our organization utilizes different tools and capabilities effectively and efficiently.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Technical consulting for API’s, our organization’s websites, CRM and CMS platforms and systems
  • Project management of the implementation including timeline management
  • Oversee all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions and public groups
  • Resolve user support tickets
  • Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders
  • Support team members and lead user adoption of technical tools in our organization
  • Provide ongoing user training and create training materials as needed

Your Experience & Natural Strengths

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Post-secondary education
  • Proven work experience as a Technology Administrator or similar role
  • Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification
  • Full stack developer with deep knowledge of Strapi, Webflow, Node.JS and React JS
  • Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of cloud-based technology systems, database connections and APIs
  • Experience in performing change management, upgrades and ensuring successful integration
  • Exceptional ability to create and maintain marketing databases
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred
  • Highly organized, able to juggle multiple projects based on priority, and works well under-time sensitive deadlines
  • Enjoys a team environment and thrives working independently
  • Bilingualism is an asset

Location

  • Hybrid with the ability to travel to Burlington or Ottawa.
  • Combined work from home and office environment.
