Salesforce Developer with State Government Client12 months contract

Your new role
- The purpose of this role is to develop and customise Salesforce solutions using various technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components, Vlocity and OmniStudio This includes designing, coding, testing, and deploying Salesforce applications either in-house or in conjunction with an external vendor.
- The role will also take part in requirements gathering workshops, estimation, addressing the agile product backlog through development sprints and delivery and maintenance of technical documentation.
In this role, you will also contribute to support applications built on the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing Salesforce solutions from inception to ready for business use in production.
- Establishing and upholding architecture, design and implementation principles including configuration management and coding practices.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, developers and functional analysts on functional and technical requirements.
- Providing estimates for the scope of work, discussing options and recommending solutions.
- Reviewing code and run initiatives to improve the overall health of the platform.
- Reviewing Salesforce seasonal releases and identify new features that can be enabled for the business.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with distributed teams for enterprise clients.
- Experience establishing DevOps tooling and processes for complex Salesforce solutions, using tools such as GitHub, Salesforce Development, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components, Vlocity and OmniStudio
- Strong skills in web development, Salesforce platform programming languages and frameworks – Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component framework, Lightning Design System framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with Salesforce integrations/ implementations, and Salesforce Platform development tools such as Flows, Debugging with the Developer Console, Lightning Components and VS Code
- Experience with API integrations, Conga composer/sign and Salesforce Experience Cloud
- Experience with DevOps tools – such as Jenkins and AWS
- Code versioning with Bitbucket or any Git based version control system
- Experience with Agile and Lean development practices and user-centred design.
