Job Description
We are on the hunt for a sharp and innovative email marketing and Salesforce Marketing Cloud specialist. In this position, you will be required to oversee all development and testing aspects of email marketing campaigns, including content and the dissemination of copy and complex implementations. As an Salesforce Marketing Cloud specialist, you will also be required to collaborate with coworkers across departments to ensure maximum uptake of offerings.
Central Responsibilities
- Build marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud including campaign setup, email setup, testing, scheduling, tracking, and measuring campaigns to drive short-term and long-term results.
- Orchestrate multi-channel customer journeys using Journey Builder, including digital channels such as email, webinars, messaging, forms, landing pages, in-app messaging, and web.
- Set up webinar programs in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including email invitations, reminders, landing pages and forms.
- Create and maintain lists, segmentations, and data extensions.
- Optimize marketing automation programs with a focus on driving engagement, efficiency, and scalability
- Provide campaign-level reporting on email, webinar, and other marketing channels.
- Consult with marketing stakeholders on marketing automation and email marketing best practices to drive channel effectiveness.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple internal stakeholders to execute marketing campaigns
- Assist in creating test plans
- Develop and execute functional test cases and maintain scripts ( functional ) and other assets that are used to support testing
- Produce and present testing-related reports and information such as requirement-based coverage, defect age, and trends
- Analyze the impact of a change from a development & testing perspective.
- Liaise with application support teams and the user acceptance team on testing activities
Qualifications
- Excellent and demonstrated English communication skills (written and verbal), with specific experience managing information technology
- Working knowledge of test methodologies and testing practices
- Demonstrated programming experience, ideally with Java, Python or JS
- Excellent work ethic, dependable and responsible who is a flexible self-starter who can ramp up with new requirements/technologies quickly and can adapt to a growing and evolving team
Assets
- Past experience working as a QA analyst or tester
- Strong self-motivation (this is a must)
- Automation using Selenium
- Java Experience
- Must be able to succeed with minimal resources and minimal supervision
