The Opportunity
The Sales Alliance Sr. Specialist – Salesforce Product Manager role will lead the team’s new charter to serve as the business product owner of Ally Auto Finance’s instance of the Salesforce platform. This included developing an overall product roadmap, strategy, and all related business cases for the platform. In addition, this role will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to address key gaps/opportunities.
The Work Itself
- Partner with regional sales teams to identify gaps and enhancement opportunities in order to drive incremental sales and operating efficiencies
- Manage the intake process and prioritization of all new functionality related to the Auto Finance sales team
- Aid in outlining all relevant requirements and leading testing efforts
- Understand all unused Salesforce tools/capabilities to determine enhancement opportunities
- Serve as the first line of defense for all platform-related escalations and troubleshooting
- Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate solutions to deliver business strategies to key dates
- Work closely with business leaders to provides insight for the development of new strategies, sales processes and automation using Salesforce
- Leads and executes independently on enterprise projects using agile project management methodologies
- Communicates with matrix partners and stakeholders to communicate findings and raise high risk issues to management
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required; PMP certification is ideal
- 3+ years in auto lending or financial services industry is preferred with a focus on project management
- Familiarity with Salesforce is required
- Salesforce administration and developer certifications is preferred
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
- Proven experience with leading and managing projects using agile project management methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, and PowerBI.
- Ability to filter through large quantities of data and pull out themes and significant trends.
- Ability to influence cross-functional business partners
- Flexible and adaptive to changing situations.
- Strong relationship building skills and experience operating within a matrix organization.
- Initiative to discover innovative ways for continuous improvement.
