POSITION TITLE
Salesforce Developer
POSITION OVERVIEW
Come be part of an exciting, innovative Low Code Development team at Milliken! This position is part of the IT Department, reporting to the Low Code Development Team Lead. The Salesforce Developer will work closely with the Salesforce Product Team and Product Stakeholders to create and maintain custom functionality in the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities include refinement of user stories, designing and implementing custom Salesforce functionality, practicing solid DevOps principles, and exhibiting technical fluency while adhering to Salesforce standards, security, and best practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain custom Salesforce functionality
Collaborate with development team members, Division Salesforce Administrators, and other divisional stakeholders to establish objectives and functional requirements
Optimize code for server and client performance
Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas of improvement
Engage in code reviews, pair programming, and feedback sessions with Development
Participate in regular Agile ceremonies including daily standups, story refinement, sprint demos and sprint retrospectives as part of a dedicated delivery team
QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Technology Discipline or equivalent work experience
5 years experience in a Salesforce developer role
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
Strong Apex, Lightning Web Component, Visualforce, and Object-Oriented-Programming (OOP) skills
Strong understanding of relational data and Salesforce Objects
Thorough knowledge of the Salesforce platform, security protocols, and authentication/authorization flows such as OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile Ceremonies
Development experience with version control tools like Git and repository and release management platforms
Proficiency debugging and troubleshooting issues within the Salesforce platform
QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED
Fluency in Salesforce DevOps tools and troubleshooting issues within them
Familiarity with integration patterns between Salesforce and other systems
