Job Title: Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Architect (Principal, Sr Principal)
Slalom is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect who will lead delivery using the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions product, and support sales pursuits. You are passionate about helping government agencies use technology to solve big problems. You understand the problems government agencies uniquely face, and you know how to solve them with Salesforce. You will engage with our customers by leading discovery and solution design and by bringing the best practices and knowledge of the platform to our solutions. You will support in pursuits by helping define the architecture, drafting estimates, writing proposals, and leading customer demonstrations. You will be an expert in the Public Sector Solutions product and work with non-technical and technical resources on how to best use it. This is an exciting leadership role with the opportunity to grow further into delivery or capability leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Serves as a Public Sector Solutions technical leader and subject matter expert
- Advises the customer and Slalom’s delivery team on Public Sector Solutions best practices, best solutions, re-usable assets, and product feature
- Translates business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platforms and products
- Provides hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to admins & developers
- Provides detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality
- Provides expertise during sales efforts to collaboratively design elegant, functional solutions for our clients
- Leads Slalom in understanding new Public Sector Solutions product and technical capabilities as well as refining continued best practice
- Participates in marketing events (e.g. conferences, industry events, sales meetings)
- Demonstrates thought leadership through publishing, public speaking and client presentations
- Coaches and mentors junior technical and functional team members
What You’ll Bring
- 3-5+ years of Salesforce experience
- Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems
- Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills
- Experience with Salesforce project delivery with a preference towards consulting experience
- Passionate about public sector and technology
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
- Preference to experience utilizing Public Sector Solutions and OmniStudo, or with Salesforce’s Industry Clouds
- Preference to previous sales and pre-sales solutioning experience
- Preference to technical development experience such as hands-on configuration and development of complex business processes
- Preference to previous experience with Public Sector customers
