The VP, Salesforce will lead the strategic direction and operational management of Salesforce development initiatives within the organization. This role is responsible for driving innovation, optimizing Salesforce and contact center technologies, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact, scalable solutions that enhance customer engagement and business processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce, Contact Center AI, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Target Range:
$150,000.00 /Yr. - $180,000.00 /Yr.
Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

This position will be onsite and located at our HQ in San Diego, CA. Remote or hybrid in not available for this role.The VP, Salesforce will lead the strategic direction and operational management of Salesforce development initiatives within the organization. This role is responsible for driving innovation, optimizing Salesforce and contact center technologies, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact, scalable solutions that enhance customer engagement and business processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce, Contact Center AI, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for Salesforce initiatives, aligning with the overall enterprise strategy
- Lead and manage a team of Salesforce admins, developers, business analysts, and omnichannel specialists (Five9, chatbot), fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Optimize Salesforce functionalities to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the organization
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to build and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that meet business needs
- Oversee the development and execution of Salesforce projects, ensuring adherence to SDLC practices, timely delivery, and alignment with business objectives
- Monitor and manage the performance of Salesforce initiatives, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business unit leaders, and external partners
- Ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing across Salesforce teams and the broader organization
- Manage the budget and resources for Salesforce initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a technology or business process management environment
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact, scalable solutions
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Deep understanding of Salesforce, and Contact Center AI technologies
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in technology and business process management
- Experience in a financial services or banking environment
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks
