Steelcase has a new opening for a Salesforce Administrator. They will be a member of a global team supporting multiple Salesforce instances within Steelcase’s IT environment.
Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for both the day-to-day support and long-term management of multiple Salesforce instances. The core job functions include collaborating with various business partners to gather requirements and implement sales and service processes within Salesforce Lightning, and other applicable systems.
The responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of Steelcase:
- Create and implement changes to Salesforce applications, objects, fields, processes, flows, validation rules, approval processes, email alerts, advanced formulas, page layouts, record types, and Lightning pages.
- Design, build, test, document, and deploy high-quality and scalable business solutions on the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform based on industry best practices and business needs
- Develop and maintain effective documentation on configuration changes, integrations, and processes.
- Handle user inquiries and enhancement requests logged as support tickets, resolving issues or escalating them to appropriate subject matter experts when necessary.
- Support the integration of managed packages (external systems) with Salesforce.
- Provide solutions for the global sales organization to support business objectives.
- Support project delivery through the adoption and support of Agile project management methodologies.
- Collaborate with matrix partners and stakeholders to communicate findings and raise issues to management.
- Ensure data validity, accuracy of deliverables while adhering to compliance policies and procedures.
- Provides technical and analytical mentorship to fellow team members.
- Prior experience required. 2+ years of Salesforce administration and configuration experience are preferred.
- Sales Cloud proficiency required. Service Cloud knowledge is a plus.
- Salesforce administration and developer certifications are preferred.
- Tableau experience is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including ability to articulate complex problems in a simple manner.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Proven ability to leverage technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.
- Ability to learn and navigate business processes in a globally integrated enterprise.
- Able to teach and train end-users in a 1:1 classroom setting.
- Ability to work with vendors and other service providers in problem resolution or escalation.
- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels globally with diverse cultures.
- Must have strong analytical, reporting, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to Agile/Scrum practices, if needed.
Education/Experience:
- BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of system administration experience with Salesforce or equivalent technology platform

The annual base salary range for this position is $76,000 - $121,700. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Steelcase considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
