Position Summary:

• There are additional enhancements planned for the existing Salesforce implementation of a system that is used by internal users of a leading retail chain.
• The system analyst should be highly skilled and experienced with a strong background in Salesforce to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Salesforce system analyst or functional consultant, with a deep understanding of the retail industry and its processes.
• The candidate should leverage extensive knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and functionalities to optimize business operations, while employing excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges. The candidate should have proven experience in a similar role within the Salesforce ecosystem with detailed understanding of retail industry processes.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience as a Salesforce system analyst or functional consultant or in a similar role.
• Detailed understanding of retail industry and its processes.
• Utilize project management methodologies and tools to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and foster strong working relationships.
• Create detailed documentation and conduct comprehensive training sessions for users.
• Advocate for Agile methodologies to promote a flexible and collaborative work environment.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and functionalities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with data and process modelling techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze business processes, procedures, and work practices.
• Leverage understanding of processes followed in retail industry; teams involved in requirement elicitation.
• Evaluate inefficiencies and recommend optimal business practices, system functionality, and behavior.
• Use project management methodologies, principles, and techniques to develop project plans, manage resources, and oversee project execution.
• Take responsibility for deploying functional solutions, including creating, adopting, and implementing system test plans to ensure quality and integrity.
• Create user and trainer documentation and conduct formal training classes to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.
• Develop functional specifications for system developers and use data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications.
• Act as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision-making process.

Salary Range: >$100,000
