About the Role: As the Sr. Software Engineer for Credit Onboarding technology team, you will have the responsibility to develop, configure and integrate technology solutions for origination of client/credit onboarding at the bank. The role will collaborate with other software engineers, tech leads, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions in alignment with product vision and strategy. Once Here You Will: Be responsible for the detailed architecture, design, development, modification, testing, adaption, and implementation of software solutions that are of highest complexity levels with multiple new system integrations. You will review business and system requirements, business processes, user stories, to design, develop test, debug and implement software solutions. You will be working collaboratively, in a fast paced and agile environment. - Provides working prototypes to confirm the feasibilityof technical solutions - Develop and Coordinate the design and development of complex software systems models, primarily Credit/Client Onboarding platform such as nCino built on Salesforce - Analyze and translate the business requirements & functional requirements into a technical design and software - Facilitate and participate in software and system design and development with white-boarding sessions to ensure prioritized business needs are met within technical standards - Develop, configure, as well as provide direction in the programming and coding functions - Convert application data model and data mapping specifications into designs and software code - Perform Unit testing as well as participate in testing releases prior to installing in production - Perform application changes and configurations - Manage the installation of patches and software configurations/upgrade in production as well as during the development and testing phases of the software - Perform initial validation of the installed systems to ensure it is functioning as per the specification from Business before it is made available to test team and Business stakeholders. - Be responsible for working with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and produce technical specifications for any changes to technology applications. Implement the technical design into via configuration, integration or software code development. - Take ownership of escalated production issues based on the severity and priority and develop the solution for the same. - Team up and collaborate with Systems Analysts, Software Engineers, Technical Lead, Quality Engineers, Business SME, and Management - Has solid experience in Salesforce. Experience specifically with nCino is a huge plus - Has experience working as Salesforce administrator or developer - Any one or more of Salesforce Certification is preferred (Administrator, Developer or Architect) - Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality - Proficient with one or more technologies like - Apex, VisualForce, Triggers, Force.com, Web Services, Lightning, Native, MySQL and JavaScript - Demonstrated experience working in medium to large scale Salesforce implementations - Data management (SQL, XML, JSON, Hibernate) - Can work as a full stack developer to develop and maintain complex full stack applications - Experience with GIT and Bitbucket or any software code management solution is desired - Performs complex software development using Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban - Worked on Agile projects and has complete knowledge of day to day Agile routines - Understands and uses CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, and full-stack methods and can code, test, and debug - Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards - Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills - Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills - In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC - Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Education: - Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent experience - 8 years of software development and more than 3 years of Salesforce application development, integration, customization, enhancement and support Preferred: - Salesforce Developer Certification preferred - General web development background (Java/JEE, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, Spring) preferred - Experience with Web services (REST, SOAP) preferredFor more than 35 years, SVB Financial Group (NASDAQ: SIVB) and its subsidiaries have helped innovative companies and their investors move bold ideas forward, fast.
