Salesforce Developer

Role: Salesforce Developer
Term: Contract
Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid-3 Days onsite per week)

This role needs the person to be a SF developer and also flexible/had prior experience in Object oriented languages like .Net or Java. C

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Participate in agile squad ceremonies to review and understand documented user stories
Collaborate with other developers on the team to analyze, design and implement new features / services / applications that adhere to change management practices
Ability to work with minimal supervision and documentation, deep diving into code and troubleshooting issues that arise to determine root cause
Ensure high code quality through automated unit and functional testing
Work within a talented team comprised of technical, product and business team members to deliver exception solutions
Stay open-minded and look beyond your stack to solve complex problem
You will actively seek out knowledge about new technologies and see how they can be used to solve current and foreseeable challenges

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics of engineering with 5+ years of development experience
5+ years Salesforce Development/Lead and Web development experience
Deep understand of Salesforce Platform to design, build, test, and deploy solutions that may include point-and-click configurations, flows, APEX triggers, Custom Web Services, Visualforce pages, Lightning (Aura and LWC)
Strong hands-on experience in developing with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), Sales Cloud & Financial Service Cloud
Expertise in system integrations using REST/SOAP API, event based patterns, real-time and batch based solutions
Demonstrated experience with Change Management/DevOps processes, and ability to utilize Version Management & Source control tools (GIT)
Highly confident in utilization of Visual Studio Code and Salesforce DX
Able to work flexible hours to collaborate with Global IT and business team members

NICE TO HAVE:
Experience with Microsoft .NET platform, T-SQL queries/stored procedures, Oracle PL-SQL
Experience with data migration initiatives
Experience implementation CRM solutions in the financial sector, building new orgs from scratch
Previous exposure to Capital Market / Wealth Management domains

Job Type: Fixed term contract
