Responsibilities
Shamrock Trading Corporation is seeking a Manager of Salesforce Development to join our Data Services team. The Manager of Salesforce Development is responsible for guiding the Salesforce CRM platform technically, strategically and operationally, by bringing strong CRM leadership to the enterprise. This role will set and execute on a strategic vision and roadmap for the organization by collaborating with stakeholders and executive leadership. Reporting to the Vice President of Data Services, the role will act as the enterprise subject matter expert on the Salesforce platform and will be accountable for ensuring ongoing user adoption, support, training, architectural design, workflow optimization and custom development activities. Additionally, the role involves overseeing enhancements, upgrades, data conversions, release updates and add-on applications to ensure that Salesforce continues to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Develop and implement a strategic Salesforce vision and roadmap aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to identify priorities and convert them into Salesforce initiatives
- Define, manage, and evaluate the product vision and roadmap to ensure consistent delivery of value
- Act as the Salesforce enterprise subject matter expert, educating stakeholders on best practices for optimal cross-functional alignment
- Oversee the architectural design and manage the customization, enhancements, and upgrades of the Salesforce platform
- Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems and third-party applications for improved data flow and automation
- Lead and manage the Salesforce development team using Agile and Scrum methodologies to promote flexible and iterative advancement
- Conduct and oversee Scrum ceremonies to maintain project momentum and address challenges swiftly
- Engage with business stakeholders to effectively prioritize user-centric enhancements and foster collaborative relationships
- Drive ongoing user adoption and proficiency through targeted training and support initiatives
- Champion a feedback-driven culture by developing internal channels for collecting and utilizing business unit insights for strategic adjustments
- Provide leadership and development opportunities to the team, ensuring project excellence and retention of top talent while maintaining a focus on strategic objectives and business value
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related experience
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and administration
- Proven experience in leading Salesforce development teams and managing complex Salesforce projects
- Strong background in customizing and developing within the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and development methodologies
- Proven experience in Agile project management, specifically with Scrum frameworks, and a solid understanding of Agile principles
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
- Salesforce certifications highly desirable and a plus
- Preferred certifications: Salesforce Certified Developer, Administrator; Scrum Master or Agile certifications
