The Salesforce Commerce Architect is a senior-level position responsible for designing and implementing Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud solutions. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translating them into technical solutions. The architect will ensure that the solutions align with best practices and scalability while leading the development team through the project lifecycle. This position is crucial in optimizing the eCommerce capabilities and driving business growth through innovative commerce solutions.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the architecture and design of Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of commerce solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, provide guidance on Salesforce capabilities, and ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
  • Provide technical leadership to the development team, including mentoring junior members and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Manage integrations with other systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across the enterprise.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Salesforce architecture and development, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud and Experience Cloud
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong background in software development and integration
  • Optional but preferred experience in:
    • Manufacturing Cloud
    • Marketing Cloud
    • Salesforce CPQ
    • Data Cloud
    • JIRA
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud and related technologies
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce principles and best practices
  • Skilled in presenting solutions to global leaders, ensuring alignment and buy-in across international teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring clear understanding and alignment across all parties.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
