Technical Lead - Salesforce

Cognizant has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Salesforce technical lead to join our thriving team. Job Summary:

The Lead Salesforce role will be responsible for building and mentorship of a multi-skilled Salesforce team as well as design and implementing Salesforce solutions for our customers that follow best practices in both IT and Salesforce projects.

In your first few weeks in this Lead Salesforce role, you can expect to:

• Lead technical requirements gathering sessions and writing technical requirements documents.

• Lead technical design sessions and writing technical design documents.

• Manage the technical delivery of integrations and custom extensions.

• Manage technical scope and client expectation.

• Responsible for providing hands on expert level assistance to developers for technical issues and contribute in delivery of the same.

To apply for this role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Delivered integration projects using Informatica, Cast Iron, Boomi, Scribe, Pervasive, or similar.
• 5 or more years of experience managing external client projects in positions of increasing responsibility in the delivery of business consulting, systems development, and systems.

• Defined and deliver custom Force.com enterprise applications.

• Completion of several salesforce.com integration and extension projects in development and lead technical roles.

• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies

• Experience with web application development either in .Net.

• Hands-on and able to code in APEX, Visualforce.

• At least 1 year hands on development experience with the salesforce.com API.

• Client-focused attitude. A customer advocate.

• 5 or more years of experience managing external client projects in positions of increasing responsibility in the delivery of business consulting, systems development, and systems.

• Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, and ERP
