We’re currently seeking a Salesforce Functional Lead to join our Melbourne based team.
About the role
The Salesforce Functional Lead will add capacity and skill to the existing CRM team, to work with all stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that are fit for purpose. Bringing new “ideas” and assisting in the strategic direction of the CRM solution. Importantly, they will work with the business to get a clear understanding of requirements and support the Salesforce team in all aspects of delivery of the CRM project.
You’ll have the opportunity to
- Consult with our global teams to understand and document their CRM needs, including business processes and data integration requirements.
- Assist with the technical implementation to ensure Salesforce is successfully implemented within the Movember environment, and best configured for our needs.
- Work with the internal Insights team and our champion team to produce reports and dashboards.
- Work closely with our Salesforce technical team to develop fit for purpose solutions.
- Assist all stages of the CRM delivery including definition & analysis, testing, implementation and migration.
- Assist the Salesforce implementation across the global team, including training, communication, and rollout. Ensure there is a smooth transition to avoid business disruption.
- Provide strategic guidance and advice across all levels of the organisation regarding the use of Salesforce as a CRM tool and identify opportunities to maximise efficiency within our processes.
- Customise an off the shelf product and tailoring it to meet Movember requirements.
- Work closely with the Salesforce solution architect to ensure solutions leverage the capabilities of the Salesforce platform effectively limiting custom code to the bare minimum necessary.
For this role, you’ll need
- 3 years+ Salesforce implementation experience, including a detailed understanding and proven experience in delivering Salesforce based projects.
- An expert knowledge of the Salesforce platform, ideally Salesforce accreditation, including a demonstrable understanding of key platform principles and product capabilities.
- To be a Salesforce Champion, educating the business to the benefits of adopting Salesforce.
- 5+ years’ experience in the technology industry, with a proven track record of delivering large technology implementations in complex environments across global teams.
- Experienced in gathering, documenting and communicating business requirements.
- Experience in providing input to strategic initiatives and ensuring the implementation can meet business expectations.
- Experienced in the transfer of Salesforce knowledge / training.
- Adaptable and flexible, an innovative thinker, and a good team player with excellent communication skills and problem solving ability
