Salesforce Business Analyst

Toronto downtown based – City Centre. This is an on-site position.

Peninsula Employment Services Limited (“Peninsula”) is a provider of external human resources solutions, including employment relations advice, health and safety advice and legal support, to small and medium-sized businesses located throughout Ontario, Alberta & BC. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-growth organization and become a member of the Salesforce Team. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Analyst who will understand the goals and objectives of products within the Peninsula Group and will help analyze and suggest effective solutions that are in line with the strategic goals of individual departments and the wider Peninsula Group.

The key objectives of your role are:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, technical and external vendor resources on assigned tasks.
  • Plan, manage and lead the elicitation of detailed functional, technical and information requirements for application development/configuration, support and operations of business stakeholder programs.
  • Prioritize and progressively elaborate stakeholder and solution requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Assist testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.
  • Document the analysis outcome using formal techniques such as workflow diagramming, Use case analysis, process mapping and conceptual information/data modeling among others.
  • Lead Sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Lead solution demos to the business stakeholders including senior management.
  • Use Jira to log and track projects and BAU Salesforce support issues

The Successful Business Analyst must have:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • 3-5 years experience as Salesforce BA
  • 3-5 years experience on Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
  • Prior experience with Salesforce Lightning
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Experience working within Agile environments using Wire frames, User Stories with Acceptance Criteria, Scrum, etc.
