We are seeking a Help Desk Technician II in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City metro, responsible for providing triage technical support to all WellSky teammates. Provides support to end users on a variety of issues including hardware, software, desktop applications, and networks. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email, and help desk ticket requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
A day in the life!
You will be responsible for the following:
- Conducting troubleshooting and resolution of end user support issues
- Providing end user desktop and application support
- Performing necessary troubleshooting steps to resolve problem or determine appropriate fix
- Creating trouble tickets using appropriate trouble ticketing system
- Completing all onboarding/offboarding tasks, including new hire setups, installing desktop hardware and software, personal and network printer hardware, and setup and configuring VoIP and other Enterprise Solutions as needed
- Ensuring all system and account access is disabled when employment terminates in a timely manner
- Processing returned equipment to prepare for proper disposal or redeployment
- Performing internal IT audits as necessary

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years related work experience
Do you stand above the rest?
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in IT or applicable IT experience in lieu of degree
- MCP, A+, N+, or Security+ certification
- Current Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification
- Familiarity with Voice over IP Phone systems and deployments
- Office 365 Administration
- Familiarity with Salesforce ticketing system
- Understanding of Microsoft security patches and process for applying them
