Role Definition
- Assists in developing, testing and implementing application systems.
Responsibilities
- Participates in testing computer programs for multiple projects.
- Participate in preparing technical and procedural documentation required in application system development.
- Creates detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for simple application programs.
- Contribute solutions for programming system operations, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
Consideration for Top Candidates:
- Demonstrated experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) projects.
- Knowledge in business domains such as Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services.
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies.
- Analytical acumen with a strong attention to detail.
Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
Level Extensive Experience:
- Analyzes the value of a business and its functions through the value estimation of assets.
- Applies the prerequisites to a project before starting the business analysis process.
- Collaborates with stakeholders, development teams, testing teams, etc., to deliver business solutions.
- Documents the business case to justify the requirements of time and resources of a project.
- Utilizes diverse analysis tools and methodologies to group different business activities based on shared characteristics or similarities.
Level Working Knowledge:
- Helps create contingency plans to mitigate impact of disruption on core applications.
- Identifies key players, criticalities, roles, and responsibilities.
- Investigates application-related issues with both business and IT professionals.
- Recommends enhancements for a major application system or related subsystems.
- Works with core application systems for a major business unit or function.
Level Extensive Experience:
- Approaches a situation or problem by defining the problem or issue and determining its significance.
- Makes a systematic comparison of two or more alternative solutions.
- Uses flow charts, Pareto charts, fish diagrams, etc. to disclose meaningful data patterns.
- Uses logic and intuition to make inferences about the meaning of the data and arrive at conclusions.
- Identifies the major forces, events, and people impacting and impacted by the situation at hand.
Level Working Knowledge:
- Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.
- Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder.
- Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information.
- Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution.
- Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems.
Level Extensive Experience:
- Provides prompt and effective responses to client requests and interactions.
- Monitors client satisfaction levels on a regular basis.
- Alerts own team to problems in client satisfaction.
- Differentiates the roles and responsibilities in a business relationship.
- Works with clients to address critical issues and resolve major problems.
Level Working Knowledge:
- Tracks problems associated with the quality and effectiveness of application software.
- Researches the benefits and drawbacks of an organization's application software.
- Drafts application software usage for the department's needs.
- Provides instant support for end users of application software.
- Implements a specific application software under the supervision of management.
Level Extensive Experience:
- Follows policies, practices and standards for determining functional and informational requirements.
- Confirms deliverables associated with requirements analysis.
- Communicates with customers and users to elicit and gather client requirements.
- Participates in the preparation of detailed documentation and requirements.
- Utilizes specific organizational methods, tools and techniques for requirements analysis.
Level Working Knowledge:
- Supports the project leader in developing and executing system test plans.
- Evaluates system documentation and user manuals for usability, accuracy and completeness.
- Executes test cases, analyzes test results and reports on findings regularly.
- Tests system components for compliance with functional requirements.
- Participates in the testing of a system's ability to recover from hardware or software failures.
Additional Information:
- This role is a hybrid position and would require any successful candidate to commit to a 3 day per week in office requirement.
