Position Summary:

As a Salesforce Marketing developer, you will contribute significant technical and product experience to provide clients with practical solutions. To architect, design, and build end-to-end solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.

A Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer your duties will involve contributing to the development of the solution architecture and choosing the elements of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other technologies to employ in order to accomplish the desired business goals. Building the solution within Salesforce Marketing Cloud will be your responsibility, along with setting up the environment, building the data model using Contact Builder and data extensions, Marketing Cloud Connect, automations, SQL queries, and custom journey builder activity development.

Qualifications and Background

Required

  • 3+ years of consulting and / or experience participating in at least 2 Marketing Cloud implementations
  • 3+ years of experience in building SQL Queries and database management expertise
  • 3+ years of experience with HTML,AMPScript and Server-side JavaScript
  • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
  • Experience using Agile methodology
  • Experience in developing complex integrated solutions including integration services, data modeling, database design, and multi-tier architectures

Nice to have:

  • Experience with other Salesforce Clouds, such as Salesforce CDP, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Datorama and Interaction Studio (Evergage) is an asset.
  • Experience with technologies such as Node.JS, Vue.JS is an asset


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Support the Marketing Cloud platform and users while building, and maintaining functionality:

  • Configure account setup and administration for users and new Business Units (BUs, roles and permissions, sender profiles, RMM, Users, build data extensions, etc.).
  • Prepare and update Marketing Cloud platform for each Salesforce Marketing Cloud release.
  • Manage updates and maintenance of Marketing Cloud Connector and custom preference center.
  • Document all system updates and solutions.
  • Execute marketing automation, email marketing and content strategies for campaign execution

Exact Target/Salesforce Marketing Cloud:

  • Enable and Execute Marketing Automations
  • Integrate and maintain SFDC and SFMC using Marketing Cloud Connector, Soap and Rest API, for real-time data exchange and for triggering email activity in ExactTarget using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, etc.
  • Test Marketing Automations with dynamic content and multiple user paths.
  • Design, optimize, and execute campaigns using strategies such as A/B Testing, throttled sending, etc.

Marketing Campaign Personalization:

  • Build and execute email marketing campaigns using Content Builder.
  • Process Skills:
  • Capable of analyzing requirements and develop software as per project defined software process
  • Ability to execute test plans, create test cases test data and contribute to appropriate software (including programming languages) development life cycle methodology and application of specialized business and technical knowledge.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs
  • Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
  • Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
  • Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
  • Certification:
  • SFMC Email specialist, SFMC Consultant and SFMC Developer
