The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer is responsible for understanding business requirements and delivering high quality technical solutions that empowers the Marketing teams to utilize the Marketing Cloud automation platform.
- Experience in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Able to identify and address all the technical helps required in both offshore and onshore
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- AMP script is Marketing Cloud's proprietary scripting language, available for use in email messages, landing pages, SMS messages, and push messages.
- Can be able to work on Journey, Automation, Triggers.
In this role you will:
- Perform direct technical development of Salesforce Marketing Cloud using AMPscript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, SOAP/REST APIs, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio etc. as necessary.
- Conduct moderate A/B tests to evaluate and improve client communications.
- QA and proof emails to ensure deliverability and quality.
- Support email builds for transactional email journeys using Salesforce Journey Builder.
- Share email development, deployment, deliverability, and journey best practices with business teams.
- Generate Adobe PDF proofs for internal client approvals.
- Report on email performance and provide basic analysis to business teams.
What it takes:
- 4+ years of overall direct experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio, Mobile Push, SFMC API, Data Extensions, Data Views, Automations, Journey Builder, Preference Center, Audience Management and Segmentation, Tracking and Reporting.
- 2+ years direct experience with email coding (HTML5, CSS3), scripting and campaign execution.
- 2+ years of experience with AMPscript that will generate multifaceted content in email campaigns.
- 2+ years client-facing, customer service experience.
- Experience with responsive design email layouts.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud concepts and metrics including code, design, and dynamic content generation.
What Sets You Apart:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Developer certification preferred.
- 3+ years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Familiarity of Adobe Creative Cloud including Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro and Figma.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $45/hour - $54/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
