CACI is currently looking for a Salesforce Systems Administrator to join our Integrated Food Management System (IFMS) team supporting a purpose-built food distribution management system for the USDA’s Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR). In this role you will be part of a team responsible for the overall IFMS Salesforce infrastructure and systems administration. The role requires significant involvement within Salesforce user management, customizing objects, troubleshooting and upgrades, and will serve as the primary Tier 3 support personnel. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, making collaborative problem-solving and commitment to quality essential.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • User Management: Create and manage user accounts, roles, profiles, and permissions settings.
  • Security: Act as the subject-matter expert on existing security roles and provide guidance on the roles and security processes to the leadership team.
  • Customization & Configuration: Perform configuration changes in Salesforce to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and workflows.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide day-to-day support to Salesforce users, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance system performance.
  • Platform Maintenance: Conduct regular platform maintenance, including monitoring system performance, managing sandbox environments, and deploying new features and updates.
  • Release Management: Work with the release manager to coordinate Salesforce updates and deploy IFMS software releases, including compiling and performing manual pre- and post-deployment activities.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system processes, workflows, and configurations to ensure system transparency and business continuity.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in increasing roles within the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Three (3) or more years of experience with Salesforce application projects.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience with software system administration.
  • One (1) or more years of experience using Agile Delivery (Scrum and/or Kanban).
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle complex problems and work collaboratively with team members to resolve.
  • Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to work individually with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers and end-users.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with USDA FDPIR.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • ITIL v4 Foundations Certification.
  • DevOps Administration experience.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
