Join one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic medical centers, UChicago Medicine, as a Salesforce Data Cloud Administrator in our Marketing Department. This is a remote, work from home opportunity and you may be based outside of the greater Chicagoland area.
The Salesforce Data Cloud Administrator will be responsible for overseeing our Data Cloud platform, ensuring its seamless integration and functionality to support ongoing implementation phases, marketing campaigns, and data-driven decision-making. They will serve as the main subject matter expert of marketing audience segmentation, data connections, and data management. This role will report to the Executive Director, Performance Marketing, and have a key role in serving as the liaison between multiple internal and external stakeholders (marketing, agency, Epic analysts, and IT). This role will need to have experience in Customer Data Platforms, complex segmentation, and data management/integrations.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead audience activation management, processes, evolution, and oversee data taxonomy creation, set up and measurement
- Own ongoing data modeling & schema design to unify customer data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with Epic analysts and Salesforce implementation partners to complete data discovery in support of ongoing segmentation
- Collaborate with media partners to configure, test, and validate destinations (social, display, rich media, targeting platforms) to send segments for audience activation
- Influence internal teams and take a leadership role to ensure that key audience segmentations are used appropriately and regularly
- Be the subject matter expert in audience data management and insights - build a learning agenda to evangelize audience management best practices and educate marketers
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a combination of data management, data querying, marketing, digital marketing, digital platforms, or media
- Seasoned experience with Data Management Platforms, Customer Data Platforms, and Programmatic Platforms
- Proficiency in Salesforce Object Query Language and standard SQL to query, manage, and extract data from databases
- Ability to build and manage data models and schemas to unify customer data from various sources
- Salesforce Data Cloud certifications
- Strong familiarity with digital advertising ecosystems
- Strong familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud
- Strong familiarity with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics
