The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively within technology delivery teams, to provide end-to-end automation testing and be responsible for high quality development and execution of testing. The Test Analyst is responsible for verifying and validating developed solutions and/or products meets acceptance criteria and quality including: functionality, NFR, reliability and usability. The Test Analyst plays an important role in continuous improvement of the practice and supports the Manager QA Automation in delivering advanced capabilities across the Testing and QA unit.
What you'll need to succeed

The Test Analyst is responsible for verifying and validating developed solutions and/or products meets acceptance criteria and quality including: functionality, NFR, reliability and usability. The Test Analyst plays an important role in continuous improvement of the practice and supports the Manager QA Automation in delivering advanced capabilities across the Testing and QA unit.
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Understand and Analyse business and functional requirements and architectural specification to be used to establish test conditions, scenarios and design test cases
- Develop, write, document and execute automation testing
- Design, write, document and execute test plans
- Identify defects in a timely manner, document defects utilising test management tools, chase up defects resolutions
- Actively participate in Agile delivery processes including planning, deliver on sprint backlog, attendance at stands-up, showcase and retrospective
- Participate and actively influence technical discussions relating to software development
- Support Test Management to Identify and implement opportunities to improve quality and reduce time to market.
- Support Test Management to Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Support Test Management to Influence uniformity and standardization across the department
- Perform other duties as directed
Key skills and experience:
- A passion for Innovation, Agile and delivering exceptional quality outcomes considering business and customer experiences
- Proven experience in Automation testing using Selenium/Java
- Proven experience utilising automated testing disciplines (desirable)
- Proven experience analysing business and functional requirements and translating them to executable test cases and test plans
- Ability to influence discussions and decisions with an impact on quality
- Passionate about testing and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Skilled in using Xray Test Management tool
- Desirable knowledge and experience with:
- Atlassian suite of products (JIRA and Confluence)
- Salesforce CRM application/.Net Application/ServiceNow
- ServiceNow
- Playwirght/Cypress
- Experience using Git
