Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer with experience in headless/composable commerce to join our team. In this role, you will be developing e-commerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform, utilizing SFRA and headless/composable commerce technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable e-commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud utilizing SFRA and headless/composable commerce architectures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert business needs into technical designs and solutions.

Execute customizations and integrations using Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s OCAPI and SCAPI.

Guarantee high performance, security, and scalability of e-commerce applications.

Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing with other developers, architecture discussions, and uphold best coding practices and standards.

Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and headless commerce technologies.

Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily meetings, sprint planning, retros, and more.

Ability to analyze complex solutions and anticipate shortcomings / points of failure.

Ability to constructively discuss and debate technical solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development, focusing on SFRA and headless/composable commerce solutions.

Proficiency in React and/or other modern front-end frameworks.

Extensive experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce APIs, especially OCAPI and SCAPI.

In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and other relevant web technologies.

Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and capability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills and aptitude for teamwork.

Preferred Skills:

Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer Certification.

Experience with server-side JavaScript (Node.js).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour
