Reporting to the Director, Corporate Systems, the Corporate Systems Administrator II will support the objectives of the GHX Corporate Systems function with focus on the Salesforce/Conga platform. This position will play a primary role in developing, testing, and implementing custom solutions within Salesforce/Conga as well as perform other standard administrative functions such as user support, data administration, reporting, and other duties as assigned. The position will be responsible for managing assigned Corporate Systems Service Desk tickets to an established SLA for timely response and resolution and be held to following all change management controls, processes, and directives. This position may be required to assist in special projects respective to continued enhancement and adoption of the Salesforce/Conga platform.
Essential Duties
- Apex and Visualforce Development: Create and maintain customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Flow, Workflow, and Lighting Components. Ability to create new automations using Flow while maintaining existing workflows.
- User Interface (UI) Development: Develop intuitive UI Components using Visualforce, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Platform Release Management: Manage all major releases from Salesforce including release review and testing. Will be responsible for formulating transition approaches to deprecated features and functions.
- Data Modeling: Define and maintain efficient Data Models to facilitate logical organization of data and user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Assist in collecting and documenting business requirements.
- System Administration: Provide basic system administration support that includes troubleshooting and resolving basic end user system issues, data management requests, reporting basic configuration, and other tasks as needed.
- Assist in the design of test plans, including definition of test cases and detailed test scripts.
- Adhere to all Corporate Systems Change Management policies and procedures, processes, and directives.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Two of the three below certifications or commitment to complete 2 out of 3 within 9-12 months of hire
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I
- 2-4 years of Salesforce development experience including Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, Flow and Lightning components.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a support organization or similar capacity.
- 2-4 years hands-on experience as a basic Salesforce Admin or Superuser.
- Basic understanding of business process and acumen in Sales Operations, CLM, Finance/Accounting, CPQ, and Support Operations.
- Should possess reasonable technical acumen to allow learning/working in a basic technical capacity with all Salesforce platform related tools including TaskRay, Gainsight, and others.
- Capable of assisting with various Project Management activities and tasks assigned.
- Familiarity with all aspects of systems and software development life cycle/change management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle workload under time pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work closely with all levels of personnel.
- Flexible and able to quickly adapt to a dynamic business environment.
- Ability to keep highly sensitive information confidential.
- Must be task oriented with strong organization and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
- 3-4 years Conga CPQ/Billing experience
Estimated Salary Range: $71,000/year - $91,000/year
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
