Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a 12 months contract opportunity for a Jr. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Mississauga, ON; Calgary, AB.
What you bring to the table:
- Support, enhance and develop features for Sobeys’ Salesforce Marketing Cloud through development work
- Ability to discuss how the solution’s specific features, characteristics, functionality, and design will meet business requirements.
- Good communication skills to ensure that management is informed of progress, status, and issues of delivery team activities.
- Analyze and address Salesforce related defects, gaps, etc., in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required.

What you have to offer:
- An Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related degree
- Working experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience creating dynamic, personalized messages via email, SMS and other communication methods using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and other scripting languages is preferred
- Experience with SQL and relational databases is preferred
- Knowledge of data configuration and segmentation and, reporting and analytics
- Knowledge of data integration and management
- Knowledge of cloud services, Microsoft Azure is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of software development techniques to code and test solutions such as unit testing, object-oriented design techniques, etc.
- Experience in software engineering and solution delivery methodologies.
- Technical knowledge of one or more programming languages including C++, C or SAS
